Vincent Lanteri, MD, FACS
Dr. Vincent Lanteri, the founder of the NJ Center for Prostate Cancer & Urology, is recognized as a pioneer and authority in the field of robotic surgery for the treatment of Prostate Cancer. Over the years he has participated in the research and development of the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, co-authored the textbook “Urologic Robotic Surgery,” and has trained other surgeons in both the technology and surgical techniques.

Dr. Lanteri received his medical diploma at the University of Guadalajara in Mexico, and his Urologic Surgical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry (UMDNJ). Dr. Lanteri also completed a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Institute of Health in Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Lanteri currently serves as Co-Director in Urologic Oncology at Hanckensack University Medical Center. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and an active member of several prestigious medical societies including: the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the Minimally Invasive Robotic Association and the American Urological Association.
