surgical system. It allows 3 dimensional greatly magnified vision during
laparoscopic surgery.
The Surgeon is in control or articulating endowrist instruments which move in
all directions and allow the surgeon greater control in performing delicate
maneuvers inside the patient. Instrument movements are precise and allowed only
by the command and control of the surgeon. This allows precise laparoscopic
removal of the cancerous prostate gland while at the same time delicate
preservation of the urinary sphincter and vital nerves for sexual function.
